General information on data processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Apart from the waitlist form, this website contains no forms, no analytics or tracking tools and no embedded third-party content.

Legal basis. The processing on this website is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in providing this website securely, reliably and as needed.

Storage period. We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted or anonymised.

Recipients. Your data is only passed on to the service providers named in this policy, which act as our processors under Art. 28 GDPR, and to bodies to which we are legally obliged to disclose it. Data is never sold.

Server log files. Each time this website is accessed, access data transmitted by your browser is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL. This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to fend off attacks; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time and are not combined with other data sources.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. On our behalf, Vercel processes the server log files generated when the website is accessed (including IP address, time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system), to the extent necessary to deliver and securely operate the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely, quickly and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Access by Vercel from the USA cannot be ruled out entirely. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and Vercel’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server and delivered from there. No connection is made to the servers of font providers such as Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts; your IP address is not transmitted to any third party in the process.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Under § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), storing information on your device and accessing it requires your consent – unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

This website sets only one strictly necessary cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. It is only set when you choose a language yourself using the language switcher, and it stores nothing but that choice (“de” or “en”) so the website is shown in the same language on your next visit. The cookie expires after twelve months and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is § 25(2) TDDDG; no consent is required. No other cookies or comparable storage technologies are used.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we process your email address, the chosen language and the time of sign-up. The sole purpose is to notify you by email when Duomote launches; you receive a confirmation right after signing up. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by submitting the form.

Recipients. We use the email service Resend as our processor to send these emails. Processing takes place in Resend's EU region (eu-west-1, Ireland). We do not keep a database of our own; your sign-up reaches us as an email.

Retention and withdrawal. We keep your details until Duomote launches and delete them afterwards. You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons, for example by emailing info@senaai.de or by replying to the confirmation email; we will then delete your details promptly.

Your rights

You have the following rights towards us at any time regarding the personal data concerning you:

An informal message to info@senaai.de is sufficient to exercise your rights.

Right to lodge a complaint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestr. 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol and by your browser’s address bar starting with “https://”. Data transferred between your browser and the website therefore cannot be read by third parties.
